“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” (Matthew 18:19-20)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being a loving Father who answers prayer. You have also provided me with a community in the Body of Christ. Thank you, Lord.
Life has had its difficult moments. I have been hurt, and sometimes I have allowed these hurts to close me off to new relationships. Please heal any brokenness or hurt within me. If I have trust issues, please teach me to love like Christ. Pour into me a spirit of hospitality. Please teach me to pray for and with others.
Please strengthen my faith to believe in your ability to answer our prayers, and help me to rejoice when in the company of those who love you and are willing and ready to pray.
