I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you, Lord, for all you have done in my life and for walking with me during my most difficult seasons. Because you have overcome the world, I can overcome every obstacle.
Please cover me and my family with your Spirit of peace. Please lift me when I feel as if I am drowning. Please keep me from isolating myself from others when I am overwhelmed or persecuted. Instead, give me a tender heart toward others, full of love, empathy, and joy. Place within me a humble spirit that longs to know you intimately.
Please fill me with a spirit of humility that trusts you with every aspect of my life, and use my humility to lead others to you.
