“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (June 16:33)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your loving me enough to face death for me. Thank you for overcoming. I do not have to fight my battles because you fight them for me. Thank you for those you have put in my life whose life is an example of uncompromised faith.
When I face trouble, please help me to stand in faith and on your truth, trusting you for every outcome. Please teach me to abide in you, so I am not shaken by doubt or worry. Please forgive me for the times I have let fear overtake me and focus my sight on you every moment of every day. Please pour out your spirit of peace onto me.
May my walk of faith be pleasing to you and an encouragement to others.
