Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all that you have done for me. Thank you for carrying me in my weak moments and lifting me in my moments of strength. All that I have and am, I owe to you.
Lord, I want to walk out your will for my life. Please forgive me for the times I have tried to manage life with my own strength and wisdom or when I have allowed myself to wallow in doubt. Please teach me to walk in thanksgiving continually. Please help me to rejoice no matter what I face and in any situation. Please show me what it means to pray without ceasing and remind me to pray when I am tempted by worry or fear. Nothing is too large or small to bring to you. Thank you for caring about the minutest details of my life.
May my prayer life honor you and be a blessing to others.
