This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (1 Corinthians 5:17)
Heavenly Father,
You are an extraordinary God. From the moment you accepted me, you adopted me as your own. Thank you, Lord, for second chances.
Because of your faithfulness, my old life is gone. Because of your love, I have been made new. I praise you because you have done what I could not in my life. Thank you for loving me and meeting me where I am.
Lord, I submit my life to you. Reach into the secret places of my heart that I hide from others and shine your light. I offer all of me to you. Heal the hurts that I have tried to bury or ignore. Please, continue to change my heart and mind to reflect your love and holiness.
