But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” Ruth 1:16-17
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your love. I know you will never leave or forsake me. Thank you, Lord.
Thank you for the relationships you have put in my life so I can show love and be loved. Father, bless my relationships to honor you. Give me a compassionate and trustworthy heart. Help me to be reliable and to walk with integrity. I pray that my tongue would speak words that encourage, edify and heal. Teach me how to walk in faithfulness and commitment. Help me to hear and obey the Holy Spirit as He guides me.
When the journey before me becomes a struggle, pour patience into me so that I do not walk away from your blessings. Help me remember that you specialize in confounding the wise, and every trial is just an opportunity to glorify you.
