The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. (1 Peter 4:7)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Holy Spirit that enables me to walk in self-discipline and self-control.
Lord, I want to have an intimate relationship with you. I want to listen to your heart and walk according to your will. Please teach me to walk in holiness and help me to practice a lifestyle of self-control. No matter what I face, I am never alone because you are always with me. Please help me to lean on you instead of negative coping habits. Please deliver me from any sin that separates me from your will. Please pour your Spirit onto me so that I will experience your peace and joy instead of simply surviving. Please help me to live in godliness that is a testament to your love and grace.
May my prayers not be hindered so that they can be used according to your will and to the benefit of others.
