Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being patient with me when I am impatient. Thank you for your gentleness, wisdom, and mercy.
You have told us that in this life, we will face trouble. We also face difficult decisions. There are times when we feel the need to act quickly, and there are times when I have acted without your guidance. Forgive me for those times I have moved forward without your direction or consent. Please pour into me patience and discernment. Please teach me to wait on you when I am unsure of the direction I should go. Please give me the courage to trust you, your purpose, and your will. Please help me to lean on you when I feel unsteady or unworthy.
Lord, please teach me to make discernment a priority in my life, and may others be blessed through my practice of it.
