But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Holy Spirit. You have not left your people alone but left a comforter, teacher, guide, and helper. Thank you, Lord.
Sometimes focusing on myself, my responsibilities, and my interests seems easier. But, you have called me to love on others. You have called me to be your ambassador spreading the Good News of the Gospel to everyone. Please give me the courage to tell others about you. Please help me to be zealous for you and your will so that you might be glorified. Forgive me for laziness, selfishness, of self-centeredness. Please pour your Spirit into me so that my actions and words reflect your love and holiness.
I pray that you will be lifted up through my life so that others will be drawn to you.
