So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. (1 John 4:16)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your extraordinary love. You are kind, merciful, and gracious. Thank you for the opportunity to draw close to you.
Sometimes I grieve when I examine myself and my choices. In my regret, I doubt your love. Please forgive any double-mindedness. Please remove any sin that separates me from you. Please strengthen my faith and belief in how much you love me. Please help me trust and love you with my whole heart, mind, soul, and strength. I want to experience your presence. Please teach me to abide in you, and please abide in me.
May your love flow into me and through me to others every day.
