Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your gift of peace. Thank you for your Holy Spirit guiding, healing, and convicting me.
Lord, pour your peace out onto me and help me to be a peacemaker. Please give me an empathetic, tender heart toward others. Sometimes I can get so focused on my own opinion that I forget your commandment to think about the interest of others. Forgive me. Please give me a spirit of humility and wisdom. Please forgive me for the times I have spoken out in anger and teach me to control my tongue. Please give me words that build others up. Please teach me to be patient when I disagree with others and help me to think carefully and measure my words before I speak.
May every word from my mouth glorify you and lead others toward knowing you.
