Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your eternal, personal love. Thank you for carrying me when I am weak and leading me along the right path. Thank you for your gracious sacrifice so that I could be saved.
You had a plan and a purpose for my life before I was born. There have been times when I have yielded to you in obedience and others when I pushed against your plans. Please fan the flame of obedience within me and forgive me for the times when I have rebelled. Please show me any rebelliousness within me, and change my heart. Please help me to let go of any sin that separates me from your holiness. Please teach me to lean into your love, trust your purposes above my desires, and trust that your purpose is better than anything I could imagine.
May my desire to know and walk with you grow within me daily.
