“I see what you’ve done. Now see what I’ve done. I’ve opened a door before you that no one can slam shut. You don’t have much strength, I know that; you used what you had to keep my Word. You didn’t deny me when times were rough. (Revelations 3:8)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for seeing me. You know my story, suffering, shame, and regret. You have walked beside me and kept me from drowning. You hold my hand, and even if I fall, you are there to help me up and steady me. Thank you, Lord.
Life can be difficult, and sometimes I have struggled to respond to others amid trying situations. Please forgive me. Please help me to see those who have hurt me how you see them, to look past their poor choices and my hurt, and forgive them. Please teach me to love like Christ, especially those persecuting me. Please show me how to offer grace and be a peacemaker so that others may be healed.
Father, please teach me to stand on your promises and use my obedience to reach the hurting and the lost for you.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
