“Elizabeth, your relative, is six months pregnant with a son in her old age. People said she couldn’t have a child. But nothing is impossible for God.” Mary answered, “I am the Lord’s servant. Let everything you’ve said happen to me.” Then the angel left her. (Luke 1:36-38)
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your magnificent grace. Thank you for being faithful to keep your promises. You have shown me that you are trustworthy. Please help me to remember your faithfulness when things are going well to keep me from becoming complacent. Please help me remember it when life gets hard and keep me from giving up. When faced with an impossibility, allow me to remember that you are the God who spoke all creation into existence, and you consider me Your own. Give me a thankful heart and teach me to walk in intentional and active faith. Then, use my faith as a blessing in the lives of others.
Bring others who need their faith strengthened and renewed into my life, and use me according to your purpose. May my life and the choices that I make bring you glory.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
