By nature I am an introvert, with the potential to communicate passionately and to talk way too much. Because of these completely conflicting personality traits, I often find meeting new people to be challenging and uncomfortable. Although I have a deep need to have close friends and share intimately, I do not feel particularly pressed to make those friends. One might think that introducing myself to my readers would be easier, as there is no face to face interaction. One would be wrong.
Regardless, I am very glad that you stopped by; and very honored that you are visiting my blog.
This blog was born out of my desire to be a blessing to women, and the families that they love. Luke 12:48 reads:
From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”
I have been given much. By the grace of God I have come out on the victorious side of widowhood, miscarriage, infertility, depression, divorce, and marital unfaithfulness – and this list is far from comprehensive. And standing on the victorious side of these circumstances I can tell you that
God is Faithful. He is Real. And He loves you.
Today I am an almost 40 year old homeschooling mommy with
4 5 beautiful babies! I am a PhD student and a mom-preneur. And I grow more in love with my God and my family each and every day.
In today’s busy world it is easy to get caught up in our plans, worries, schedule, fears, relationships, goals, ambitions, hurts and failures. BUT, it is my prayer, that all those who stop by here would be reminded that no matter what responsibilities, desires, or situations require our attention, the most important thing –
is to get caught up in Christ.
Each day I am learning to embrace the will of God for my life more and more. Step by step I am endeavoring to live every day intentionally seeking and carrying out His purpose for my life – and teaching my children to do the same. And if you would like to come along for the journey, I would love the company.
