Daily Hope & a Prayer – May 28

If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open. James 1:5-8 (MSG)

Dear Father,

I praise you for being a God who loves to help me. Not only do you love to help me, but you love it when I ask you for help. Thank you for being a caring Father, who is pleased when I come to you for guidance and assistance.

Fill me with a spirit of gratitude and humility, so that I will willingly and happily come to you about all manners of issues and decisions. Thank you for being Jehovah Ezer, the LORD my Help. You are indeed my help in times of trouble, sorrow, lack, contentment, joy, and plenty. No matter what I am facing, or what I need, you know what is best for me, and will provide it. Thank you for loving me with an eternal and faithful love.

Lord, help me to stand on faith, choosing to trust you instead of worrying. Help me to understand and remember that prayers offered to you must be done in faith.

Increase my faith, more and more that I might be used to intercede for others and accomplish Your will through this earthly vessel.

In Jesus name I pray this. I love you.
