Daily Hope & a Prayer – April 30

Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30:4-5 (NIV)

Dear Father,

Hallelujah! I praise you, Lord. Thank you for your righteousness and your power.

Lord, you know that I have faced difficult and trying times. Often my trial is a direct result of my own poor and ungodly choices. However, sometimes I face tribulations that give me an opportunity to glorify you through humility and obedience in suffering. Your word teaches me that I should expect to have trials, tribulations, and persecutions. But, I can trust that these seasons are temporary. They only last for as long as You allow them to. They only include what You allow. And You will use them all to work for my good.

Please strengthen me when I am weak, worn, and tired. Help me to remember that You are still in control, faithful, trustworthy, and true.

In Jesus name I pray this. I love you.
