Daily Hope & a Prayer – April 29

He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice, or make it heard in the street; a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice. He will not grow faint or be discouraged till he has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands wait for his law. Isaiah 42:2-4 (ESV)

Dear Father,

Thank you for your love. Thank you for your gentleness. You are amazing, Lord.

Father, there is no love as faithful and true as yours. Thank you for holding me steady, when I am tired. Thank you for enabling me to stand when I am worn. Because you love me you have not let me fall. Your encouragement, peace, and strength is beyond my comprehension. Father, I have learned that you are my vindicator, and that I can trust you, for you are a just God.

You have a plan and a purpose, and will use my seasons of joy, and my seasons of pain, for your glory. You will not allow your promises to return empty, and everything that you purpose will come to pass. Thank you for purposing good things for my life.

Help me to trust you in my weakest hour. Teach me to run to you in expectancy and hope, leaving my burdens and worry at your throne of grace and mercy. Help me to walk with you continually, learning more of you and about your ways each and every day. Raise within me a great faith.

In Jesus name I pray this. I love you.
